Details: The next Sanctuary work day is March 8th at 8:30 a.m. Dress for the weather (in layers). There will be coffee and water available. The plan is to clean out the Winter Quarters and reorganize. Even if you are no good with manual tasks, I have plenty of easier things to do like sorting through tools, chemicals, and hardware. We will also clean out the nest boxes to prepare them for spring migration.
There are a lot of events and opportunities to interact with the Sanctuary coming up. Between work days and other projects, any and all hands are welcome to come help. Among those things will be invasive plant removal, restoration of the fire pit along the entrance drive, and installing new signage.
